The community of London, Ontario, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Luke Salvo, who tragically passed away in an accident on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at just 27 years old.
Luke’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him — his family, friends, coworkers, and the many people whose lives he touched with his kindness and enthusiasm. He is lovingly remembered as a devoted son, caring brother, loyal friend, and cherished partner.
Born and raised in London, Luke was the beloved son of Frank and Virginia (Haasen) Salvo and the loving brother of Joshua Matthew Salvo. He shared a close and unbreakable bond with his family, who describe him as thoughtful, hardworking, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
Luke also leaves behind his soulmate, Zoey Elizabeth Brethauer, who shared countless memories, adventures, and dreams with him. Those closest to them say their love was deep and genuine — a partnership built on laughter, understanding, and unwavering support.
He has now reunited in Heaven with his grandparents, Caterina and Domenico Salvo and Tina and Peter Haasen, affectionately known to him as Nonna, Nonno, Oma, and Opa.

Luke was a proud member of the Jones Healthcare Group family, where his dedication and positive attitude left a lasting impact on his coworkers. Known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic, he was respected not only as a professional but also as a friend who brought warmth and energy to the workplace.
Outside of work, Luke was a devoted car enthusiast, admired within the local automotive community for his passion, craftsmanship, and camaraderie. Whether he was working under the hood of a vehicle, attending a meet, or offering advice to a fellow enthusiast, Luke’s love for cars reflected his creativity and his desire to connect with others who shared his interests.
A Legacy of Kindness
Those who knew Luke best describe him as someone who made everyone feel seen and valued. His easy smile, generous heart, and sense of humor left a mark on everyone he encountered. To his family, he was a source of pride and joy; to his friends, a loyal companion; to his partner, a soulmate; and to his community, a reminder of how precious and fragile life can be.
Honoring Luke’s Memory
Visitation will be held at Northview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre,
1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A funeral service celebrating Luke’s life will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
